Privacy Policy

The short version

Fokusd collects no personal data. Everything stays on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. Fokusd does not transmit any information from your device to any server — ours or anyone else's. There are no user accounts, no usage telemetry, no crash reports sent remotely, and no advertising identifiers.

Your unlock photo reference, your app selection, and your session history are stored locally on your device using iOS-native storage. Only you can access them.

Camera access

Fokusd uses your device camera to recognize the physical object you've set as your unlock key. All image processing happens entirely on-device using Apple's ARKit and Vision frameworks. No photos or image data are ever captured, stored off-device, or transmitted anywhere.

Screen Time & Family Controls

Fokusd uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to manage app restrictions. This integration is entirely local. We do not read, store, or have any access to your Screen Time data or usage history.

Third-party services

Fokusd contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services. The app makes no network requests of any kind.

Children's privacy

Fokusd does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above. Given that we collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
