Acceptance

By downloading or using Fokusd ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

License

Fokusd is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or sell the App or any part of it.

Requirements

The App requires iOS 18 or later and a compatible iPhone. You are responsible for maintaining a device that meets these requirements.

Screen Time & restrictions

Fokusd uses Apple's Screen Time API to block selected apps until you scan your chosen physical object. While we design the system to be effective, we do not guarantee that restrictions cannot be bypassed through iOS system settings, device resets, or other means. The App is intended as a personal habit-building tool — it is not a parental control system and should not be relied upon as one.

No warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will produce any particular outcome regarding your screen time or habits.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paweł Maryniak (the developer) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Changes to the App or these terms

We may update the App or these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
